Pixilearn is a medical imaging teaching platform for healthcare professionals. With Pixilearn we aim to rethink medical imaging teaching by bridging a full elearning platform with a full featured medical viewer to create interactive teaching clinical cases
Learning by practicing
Our idea came from the issues seen during continuous training of radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, usually performed using static and passive slideshows which are limited to acquire new skills. We aim to reproduce learning my mentoring, just like initial teaching of residents
A new paradigm
We wanted to bring back the “learning by experience” teaching workflow used for residents, bringing real clinical questions with full images availability on a full featured workstation. This workflow allows the student to do hypothesis and then compare his decisions to the expert and learn from his weaknesses
Sharing expertises and knowledge
We are open minded and we aim to rethink medical imaging training from initial to continuous education, sharing knowledge and enhancing practices across generations and geographies
